Varieties we grew out for the 2024 year include: Black Jersey Giants (large brown eggs), Easter Eggers (medium egg size with colors that vary from blue, green and light brown), Midnight Majesty Marans ( Large dark brown eggs), Orpingtons, buff and select English Orpingtons (medium brown eggs), Rhode Island Reds (large brown eggs), and Olive Eggers (large speckled green eggs, chance of brown eggs).
2025 updates: The brooder welcomed its first batch of 40 chicks late January. We will be offering Barred Plymouth Rocks, Gold Laced Wyandottes, Red Stars beginning late May. These breeds were chosen for egg production focus due to the rising costs of eggs. We will have limited numbers of pullets for sale this year. We offer pullets well after they have come off from supplemental heat source up until they've started laying. On occasion we will have well established hens for sale. Contact us for availability.
